Pre-Verbal Skills & Interaction
An effective communication starts from having an intent to communicate.
We learn how to convey our thoughts and needs via the common code that we had observed before.
How effective is our child’s communication?
Are they able to tell/ understand others with an appropriate communication method?
A child shows us what he knows about the world with the way he plays.
He builds, destroys, throws, jumps, runs and falls while learning.
Let’s find out how can we help our child to learn more with fun.
One of the main goals we learn to communicate is to create a new relationship with people and stay connected.
We will look into the ways to make connections within ourselves and with others.
This course is designed to encourage language learning in children by providing positive learning experience to adult learners and is not equivalent to Speech Therapy session which is a clinical individual therapy.
There are more than 200,000 English words in the Oxford dictionary.
We will learn which of those words should be introduced to our child first.

It is not as simple as being able to following instruction.

Books introduce us to a world that we might not have chance to access to in our lifetime.
The more we read, the more we know.
We will find out the appropriate books and reading styles which is suits our child who is as young as 1 day old.
Eliciting Expressive Language
Expressive Language is the ability to let others know their needs and thoughts accurately and effectively.
Things might go wrong when a child is unable to use the correct word, pronounce it properly or even inability to use the correct language to communicate with the communicator.
We will go into the ways of helping the child to improve their skills.
Speech Sound Development
Inaccurate pronunciation is always the biggest concern for parent and teachers.
What can we do when speaking slow and exaggerating the word do not work?
Story Telling: Narration Development
A good story teller understands more things from their experience and is potentially able to build more connections with people.
Let’s help our child to be a storytelling master.
Not only songs can help us to express ourselves better, they helped us to memorise things and enrich our vocabulary capacity.
